AB 2709 No Longer an EZ Bill

Assembly Member Maze's AB 2709, which would have added "former foster care recipient" to the list of qualified employees under the Enterprise Zone, has been amended. The bill now would require the FTB to conduct a study "that examines the feasibility of a tax credit to encourage employers to hire former foster youth."
