Breaking: SB 1008 Hearing Scheduled

Just in from Rebecca May at the JEDE Committee:

Please be advised that SB 1008 (Ducheny/Machado) and SB 763 (Lowenthal) have been set to be heard in the Assembly Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy Committee (JEDE) on Tuesday, June 20. The hearing will commence at 9 A.M. in Room 447 of the State Capitol. We expect to start hearing the enterprise zone bills at approximately 9:15 A.M.

The author's office has indicated that amendments to SB 1008 are forthcoming. JEDE's amendment deadline is 7 days prior to hearing a bill (6/13). Should all go as scheduled, SB 1008 in its amended form will be available to the public on Wednesday morning (6/14).
